AIDA 1 Introduction to Freediving

For anyone who has never freedived before and wants to try it for the first time.

AIDA 2 Freediver Course

For beginners and casual breath-hold divers ready to learn proper freediving technique.

$299 | 2-3 days

AIDA 3 Advanced Freediver

For certified AIDA 2 freedivers ready to push their depth and breath-hold to the next level.

$449 | 3-4 days

What’s included

  • Freediving instruction

  • AIDA certification (upon completion of course requirements)

  • Aquatic center entry

  • Safety buoy and lanyard

What to bring

  • Wetsuit (5mm or 7mm)

  • Mask and snorkel

  • Fins

  • Weights

  • Food and hydration

Personal gear is not included. If you need help sourcing gear, feel free to reach out and I can point you in the right direction.

Location

For open water depth training, our sessions take place at Lake Whatcom, accessed from Sudden Valley. It's a quiet spot with easy shoreline entry, making it an ideal environment for learning freediving skills in a real open water setting. The site is approximately 20 minutes from downtown Bellingham.

Pool sessions for static and dynamic training are held at Arne Hanna Aquatic Center.
